It was also offered for the first time in the New England area of the United States at the Maharishi Ayurvedic Health Centre in Lancaster, Massachusetts.

Dr Swan developed the course under the guidance of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, and has offered the lessons in South Africa, Great Britain, Holland, and other countries in the past several years.

Twenty students and eight faculty members participated in the course, which was offered as part of the university's Forest Academy.*

'It's been such a joy to dive deep into the knowledge of how agriculture ''agrees with the culturing intelligence''** more and more as it becomes Vedic Organic Agriculture,' Dr Swan said.

The local radio station KHOE featured an interview with Dr Peter Swan and Maharishi Vedic Garden Design expert Dr Susie Swan. Maharishi University of Management dean of faculty Cathy Gorini conducted the interview.
