In many countries in Asia and the Pacific region, Consciousness-Based programmes for women and girls—now being offered for the fourth year by organizations teaching the Transcendental Meditation Programme around the world—are flourishing.

Progress and achievements of the first three years of these programmes were presented 19 January 2011 at an international conference in MERU, Holland. During the conference, Transcendental Meditation teachers also made resolutions and wishes for a new year of health, happiness, and enlightenment for the people of every nation.

Fifty-five ladies from many countries have attended Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Courses, another expression of the growing worldwide appeal of the knowledge and programmes founded by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. These new teachers are filled with energy and inspiration to bring perfect health, happiness, and enlightenment to all the ladies and girls of their nations.

This album describes programmes for development of consciousness, health, and education in Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Fiji.

VIETNAM
Since the Transcendental Meditation Programme was introduced in Vietnam in June 2009, two Vietnamese women have been trained as teachers of the technique, joining Aileen Foo, a teacher from Malaysia, in offering courses and other teaching activities. There are now 200 practitioners of Transcendental Meditation in Vietnam, a country of 90 million. (read more)
