19 February 2011 The International Foundation of Consciousness-Based Education has developed numerous courses and programmes for expansion of Consciousness-Based Education around the world. Among plans for the coming year 2011 is the development of a rich, multi-faceted follow-up knowledge programme for schools and post-secondary institutions where students have learnt the Transcendental Meditation Programme. Dr Susan Dillbeck, President of the Foundation, speaking on 12 January 2011, presented a new, beautifully illustrated booklet prepared specifically for students. The language in the booklet is simple; and complex and sophisticated principles and research is clearly explained for everyone to understand. The 55-page booklet features scientific research on the benefits of Transcendental Meditation, photos of students of Consciousness-Based Education around the world, and other aspects of the knowledge and programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. There are photos of students from 12 different countries, Dr Dillbeck said, including a girl receiving a national award in India, a chemistry class and a music class in Uganda, and students in Latin America.
