Whereas previously Peru was characterized by depression, within one year of the start of the project 97 per cent of the population say they feel ?happy.? Peru is considered the seventh most optimistic country in the world. In addition, while the rest of the world was undergoing an economic depression, Peru enjoyed a healthy growth period. Also the Peruvian stock market is now considered one of the highest in the world.

A dramatic transformation has taken place in Peru as a result of the school project in Puno. Previously, Peru was characterized by depression; but now 97 per cent of the population say they feel happy, and Peru is considered one of the most optimistic countries in the world. In addition, Peru is enjoying a healthy growth period and has one of the most fast growing stock markets in the world.
