| 15 May 2013 Mr Rein Calis was selected by the queen to become a member of Orde van Oranje-Nassau, an order of knights founded in 1892 by Queen Emma. This honour is given to Dutch citizens who 'deserve appreciation and recognition from society for the special way in which they have carried out their activities.' For Mr Calis these activities, as announced, included being a teacher of Transcendental Meditation. |
